Christine Smith, PsyD
My strength as a psychologist is to deeply attend to each client's emotions, thoughts, and life context. If you seek to participate in therapy with me, we will work together to create a judgment-free and safe space. In my practice of therapy, I effectively balance exploratory and supportive therapy with the latest research and evidence-based interventions. I provide psychotherapy for older adolescents (16+), adults, older adults, college students, professionals, military-affiliated individuals, couples, and families.
My advanced training includes a postdoctoral fellowship at McLean Hospital, with a clinical appointment at Harvard Medical School, and an APA-accredited internship at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Alongside my private practice, my professional experience includes teaching clinical psychology at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels.
I am happy to answer any questions you may have or set up an initial phone conversation to determine if we both think we might work well together to meet your goals. I currently have weekday daytime and limited evening availability. I also offer both in-person and telehealth (virtual) therapy. I look forward to hearing from you!
