Morgan Barr
Morgan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the metro-Detroit area. She received her Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan in 2017. Morgan has been working in the social work field in various capacities, including child welfare, community mental health, outpatient therapy, inpatient therapy, and school social work, over the past 9 years. Most of her experience has been with youth, young adults, and their families who have experienced trauma. She uses aspects of various treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, trauma work, and family work.
Morgan takes a client centered, strengths based approach to treatment. She understands that no one knows you better than you know yourself. She is affirming and respectful of any and all identities, Her goal is to make you feel comfortable sharing and working toward healing. Morgan strongly believes in utilizing an individual’s own strengths and building upon those to assist them in reaching their goals.
