Emilia Eva Mikrut
I often work with folks who struggle with feeling “different” or a bit like outsiders. This could be because of unique life circumstances, past relational wounds and trauma, grief, or underlying neurodivergence. Many times, folks share they’re interested in therapy to work on challenges with self-worth and shame, internal conflict or dissatisfaction about the closeness of their relationships, and a deep questioning about where they belong. To me, meaningful and effective therapy is all about “fit”. My therapeutic style has been described as warm, authentic, accepting, and collaborative. From my experience, when you find the right match in a therapeutic relationship, you may feel safe to begin showing up as a truer version of yourself and making changes towards a more fulfilling life.
