Provider Types
This is a group practice with multiple providers, including:
- Psychologists
Dr. Muller provides individual, couples, and group therapy to adults (ages 18+ and up). She has experience and interest in working with college students experiencing interpersonal stress, anxiety, identity exploration, pregnancy and abortion, those in the process of healing from trauma and those who identify in the LGBTQIA+ community. She earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in trauma from Palo Alto University. She completed her doctoral training in community mental health settings and university counseling centers that prioritized social justice and culturally responsive care. She completed her APA-accredited internship at University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and post-doctoral fellowship at Boston College, University Counseling Services. She has experience and training in short and long-term therapy, evidence-based interventions as well as a group mindfulness protocol for stress reduction called Inner Resources.
My primary approach to treatment is psychodynamic and emotion-focused but I practice from an integrated perspective, utilizing evidence-based interventions that are best suited for your unique mental health needs. This means that I will be mindful and attentive to the important relationships in your life, how you experience, communicate, and connect with your emotions and how this influences what is bringing you to treatment. Additionally, I will provide tools and interventions that focus on both immediate symptom reduction and long-term change. I believe therapy to be a safe and brave space for self-reflection as much as a space to take risks, explore uncertainties and receive honest and compassionate support.
