My therapeutic approach rests on three pillars — collaborative, compassionate, and patient-centered. That means cultivating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where everyone feels validated and empowered as they work through life's difficulties.

I've had the privilege of partnering with people from all over the world. Being surrounded by individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds has been incredibly rewarding and strengthened my ability to provide culturally responsive care. Adolescents, young adults, and older adults navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges have been part of my caseload. With each one, I work to ensure they feel comfortable enough to show up as their true selves, knowing I will always listen.

Patients navigating personal, family, and environmental stressors have also worked with me to strengthen resilience and improve emotional well-being. My practice draws on both psychodynamic therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). The psychodynamic side has patients explore how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns shape their current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while CBT techniques allow them to identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, gain insight, and build effective coping skills. I tailor this integration to each person’s unique needs, helping them move firmly toward lasting growth.

Earlier in my career, I worked with a city social services agency assisting individuals and families living in migrant shelters, and with a nonprofit organization offering a wide range of community-based services.

In both roles, I found it deeply fulfilling to make a tangible impact on the lives of the families and individuals I served. Whether I was providing counseling, advocating for their needs, connecting them with resources, or helping them navigate available services, I cherished the opportunity to support people during challenging times while watching them achieve stability and happiness.
