Andria Mody
Since graduating in 2023 with a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I have worked in various private practice outpatient settings, where I have specialized in treating adult women and men. I work well with those who might feel stuck in life, have trouble overcoming anxiety, are navigating life transitions, or wanting to heal from toxic relationships or childhood trauma.
When working together, you can expect a compassionate, non-judgmental, collaborative approach, and a safe and supportive environment. My style is grounded in evidence-based practices such as IFS (Internal Family Systems) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy) to address trauma and build new self-aware and compassionate ways of being. I also utilize and pull from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-based therapies, and somatic therapy techniques for a holistic and tailored approach to managing anxiety, healing emotional pain and trauma, and creating a calm and regulated nervous system.
My therapeutic style is to meet you exactly where you are at, with gentleness and patience. I believe change is possible for everyone, but it is often the narratives, stories, and unhealed traumas we have internalized that can make it difficult to move forward.
In treatment I’ll help you learn to recognize these beliefs, to understand their roles, and cultivate self-awareness, compassion, and create a harmonious internal system. While untangling it all may feel overwhelming right now, I’m ready to walk alongside you in your journey towards healing and growth.
My journey into becoming a therapist began with my own struggle with anxiety and identity as I managed various life transitions. With the help of therapy, I was able to find my way through a path that once seemed overwhelming. This experience deepened my commitment to providing mental health care and allows me bring genuine compassion, connection, trust, and empathy into each session. I look forward to walking alongside you in our work together.
Outside the office, I enjoy a wide range of hobbies that help keep my mind and body active. I love exploring the great outdoors, whether I’m hiking nature trails or paddleboarding on the water, as well as indoor fun like cooking new recipes and honing my video gaming skills. You’ll also often find me curled up with a good book, most likely about world history!
