Wendy Couch
Everyone deserves a safe space to find their voice and write their next chapter. My goal is to support you through connection, reflection and growth as we work together to define and achieve your goals. I am dedicated to creating a supportive therapeutic relationship built on trust, transparency, and authenticity. My approach integrates trauma informed and evidence-based practices with personalized care, curated to meet your unique needs. Mental health wellness is a journey, and I would be honored to be a part of yours.
I graduated from the College of William and Mary with a concentration in addictions treatment. My clinical interests include the treatment of high functioning depression, anxiety, substance abuse disorders, and binge eating disorder. I weave skills from evidence based modalities in to my clinical sessions in an organic manner.
I approach therapy with compassion, creativity, humility, and a good dose of humor. In our sessions, I provide a non-judgmental and safe environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My goal is to help you resolve your stressors quickly and effectively which means targeting the root cause rather than just the symptoms.
