You’re feeling stuck and you are so ready to make progress, but you’re questioning every decision. You hear people talk about “inner knowing” but you are so disconnected that it feels like your compass is broken, and you have no idea which way to go, or how to get there, or where “there” is. Feeling stuck, confused, unsure how to move forward - these can be related to anxiety and depression, or they can be the symptoms of going through big life transitions. Or both. If you find yourself scrolling through social media, numbing out with Netflix, waking up dreading the day, or just feeling a bit lost — I’m here for you. My therapeutic style is non-judgemental, but also honest. With your permission, I will brainstorm with you, make suggestions and offer guidance. I won’t give you my answers as if they are the only right ones. The answers are inside you. My job is to help you bring them to the surface. My specialty is in helping you to get in touch with your inner knowing so you can navigate life transitions with clarity and confidence, move through grief, process trauma, get a grip on overwhelm and anxiety, and find the best way to move forward. I can’t wait to meet you.

Here's the thing: Being a young adult today is hard. You're dealing with massive decisions about your future, trying to figure out who you are, managing relationships, and handling pressure from every direction. Safe, supportive people are difficult to find. Often we don’t have the tools or relationships we need to heal and to thrive. I provide in person therapy, with emotional support dogs in the office. In my counseling office, you can experience the support you need to feel safe, become your best self, forgive yourself and others, learn mindfulness skills to manage difficult emotions, and reprocess past hurts and traumas, in order to move forward. You will develop skills and resilience for living in these uncertain times. I am Licensed (LPC), Nationally Certified, trained in EMDR, Splankna Spiritual Energy work, and Trauma Certified. I enjoy working with clients who are empaths, highly intelligent, highly sensitive, and connected to spirituality. I will help you learn to utilize your gifts for empathy, and learn how to protect your energy. I can help you thrive and develop resilience in these stressful times. Additionally, I'm from Boulder, Colorado and I enjoy helping clients in the area. Call or text me for a free 15-min phone consultation at 303-351-2354. I believe in the power of real human connection. Everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and valued exactly as they are. My style is warm, client-centered, and grounded in curiosity. Alongside open dialogue, I use evidence-based approaches like ACT and DBT to help you manage anxiety, build stronger coping tools, and navigate life’s curveballs. I work with adults (18+) facing big transitions: starting college, figuring out who you are, exploring relationships and sexuality (including LGBTQ+ identities), or feeling stuck between worlds. As a bisexual therapist and someone who’s moved across cultures, I get what it’s like to question where you belong or how to move forward. I also support clients dealing with health challenges, athletic injuries, sexual health, chronic illness, eating disorders, and body image concerns. Outside of therapy, you’ll find me adventuring in the mountains. I see therapy a lot like a tough hike: challenging, sometimes uncomfortable, but deeply rewarding. I’m honored to walk alongside you as you find your own path.
I believe being a student and learning is an opportunity, and sometimes having a consistent therapist alongside can make the difference and help you get the most out of the opportunity. Being in school is not a singular thing, it’s not just about being the student in class who does assignments and gets the grade. In addition to being a student, there is one’s mental, physical, and emotional health, there are often bills to pay, and often the needs of others to meet. There are many other parts of ourselves and our lives that intersect with and function together with being in school. It can be overwhelming. It can be an adjustment. Transitions are big and important. There are our lives both in and out of school. Students are often also family members, caregivers, working individuals, or living with loss, trauma, depression, stress, or a medical illness. Students also learn differently, including some with accommodations for success. Some students find they need to confront an overwhelming need for perfection, or perhaps one is facing a particular challenge that is important to look at rather than look away. Therapy can be helpful when you are in school. I like to meet a client where they are at and begin by understanding you. I offer my warmth, and capacity to listen and to hold space even when the workable feels unworkable. I offer my experience and knowledge in counseling and in the creative art therapies, and hold value in an inclusive and affirmative lens. I enjoy working with students in higher education, meeting them in the places where school intersects with other parts of self that must be given care and attention, or to look more closely at or develop one’s career journey. I employ both talk therapy and the use of creative, expressive processes such as movement, poetry, art, music, story, and metaphor. The work is collaborative between counselor and client, being open about therapy goals and progress. I place value on your inherent strengths, and believe that we all hold motivation and an innate capacity to heal and be the very best versions of ourselves. Please call or email me to schedule a free consultation call.

I specialize in working with the LGBTQ+ population, addressing men's health issues, and supporting people struggling with addiction and substance use. I am experienced in working with people facing anxiety, stress, depression, and interpersonal conflict. I use a variety of techniques to help my clients, based on what we agree might be best for them - the most important part of therapy with me is you being an active participant in your own goals, progress, and life.
