I specialize in supporting people navigating anxiety, OCD, and ADHD. My therapeutic style draws from evidence-based approaches like ACT, and ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) with plenty of room for reflection and flexibility. You are a complex & unique person, not a diagnosis, and we will work together to tailor therapy to your specific needs
Hi, I’m Crystal Turner, PMHNP-BC. Welcome, i’m glad you’re here. Navigating life as a student can be exciting and rewarding, but it can also feel overwhelming at times. My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where you can slow down, breathe, and feel truly heard. Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you and find practical, compassionate ways to support your mental health. I specialize in helping people manage anxiety, depression, and stress, as well as the challenges that come with balancing school, relationships, and personal growth. My approach combines traditional psychiatric care with a holistic view of wellness. I understand that your mind, body, and environment all play a role in how you feel. You don’t have to figure it all out alone. Let’s work together to help you feel grounded, clear, and confident in who you are and where you’re headed.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Illinois, holding an MSW from the University at Buffalo, SUNY. With a commitment to cultural sensitivity and supporting LGBTQ+ populations, my practice is grounded in an identity-affirming, anti-oppressive framework that respects and validates lived experience. I believe that therapy should be accessible, so please ask me about sliding scale sessions if you feel finances are a barrier to access. I specialize in working with Autistic adults and individuals who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. Drawing from a rich tapestry of therapeutic modalities including psychodynamic/psychoanalytic, humanistic, existential, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapies, I tailor my approach to each individual’s unique needs and circumstances. Embracing a person-centered philosophy, I meet clients where they are, valuing their strengths, and collaboratively working towards their goals. I specialize in creating a safe and inclusive space for those who have felt marginalized or misunderstood. I believe deeply in the transformative power of feeling understood and endeavor to foster healing through empathetic connection and genuine support.
As a first generation immigrant and a former international student from South Korea, I am very passionate about working with clients with multicultural backgrounds. Since 2004, I have worked with people in South Korea, college students and graduate students in IL and CA, and people in their 20s, 30s, and 40s who struggle with relationship issues, family, life adjustment, intersecting identities, communications with older or younger generations, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and so on. I offer bi-lingual therapy; I worked as a licensed counselor in S. Korea, so you can speak only Korean, only English, or both languages in session. Since 2010, I have been working with clients to address a variety of issues in the United States. The main issues I have dealt with include relationship problems (romantic, family, interpersonal), anxiety, depression, ADHD, adjustment, identity, and self-esteem. The experiences of individuals rooted in immigrant families in the United States are special and unique. I have extensive experience counseling first, second, and third-generation Korean and Asian clients over the past 15 years while working in university counseling centers in the U.S. I utilize an integrative approach to therapy, primarily using elements drawn from Psychodynamic, Interpersonal, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) or Solution-Focused therapy based on the nature of the issues or client’s needs. In therapy, I strive to create new understanding, provide corrective experiences, and promote changes. My clients have told me that they enjoyed their work with me because they loved the insight about them and their patterns that they got from our work, warm and consistent support from me, and changes that they were motivated to make throughout the course of the therapy.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counsellor (LCPC) based in Illinois. I received my Masters from the Roosevelt University and have been practicing for 10 years. I help adolescents, families and adults struggling with big feelings or barriers that are not allowing them to live their happiest, healthiest life. I help individuals better understanding their feelings and offer support in making meaningful change and identify ways to problem-solve and move forward. I practice from a behavioral perspective and believe that every behavior has a purpose even if that purpose is not obvious. With the help of my clients, I work to understand the function of the behavior and then help my clients to acquire the necessary skills to have their needs met more appropriately. I believe that rapport and the therapeutic relationship are critical to be successful in providing support to my clients. I thrive on incorporating creative, unique, and idiosyncratic interventions to make the therapeutic process meaningful for the individual client. Through compassion, empathy, and understanding, I help my clients be the best version of themselves and thrive!
I provide attentive, non-judgmental, individualized counseling services for students wanting a different relationship with their anxiety, OCD, and trauma. I find a lot of joy in working with LGBTQ+ and immigrant clients and feel that even with shared identities, no two experience is the same. I accept both MO and IL clients.
As a bilingual Korean-English psychologist, I specialize in working with adults navigating perfectionism and/or anxiety rooted in attachment and emotional wounds, often shaped by growing up in immigrant families or with Asian parents. I see clients residing in California and Illinois via secure Zoom meetings. Please feel free to reach out!

I specialize in working with BIPOC, neurodivergent, non-binary, and LGBTQIA+ adults who often feel different, alone, or misunderstood. I also support BIPOC couples struggling with conflict or communication struggles. My approach is simple: I meet you exactly where you are and help you move toward where you want to go. In our first few sessions, you can expect empathy, compassion, transparency, and genuine collaboration. You’ll never be asked to shrink, mask, or pretend. This is a space where all the parts of you can breathe. What makes my practice unique is that I show up authentically, so you can too. I believe in modeling openness, honesty, and humanity in the therapy room. Together we’ll create a space where your identity, your struggles, and your strengths are seen and respected. At Nafs Harmony, our goal is to prioritize your mental health. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Therapist, I believe prioritizing your self is the key to happiness and stability. Taking the step to seek help is the most important step. I have been practicing for the past 8 years, but in the last half, I have shifted my main focus to female clients aged 14-55 who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, and prenatal/postpartum life. We will begin our journey together with an introductory session, where you will have the opportunity to share your story and goals for therapy. Together, we will explore these objectives with the goal of empowering you to achieve them. I am to create a warm and welcoming environment that encourages you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable while also providing a sense of security. As a South-Asian therapist, I understand the cultural nuances and stigma that can surround mental health in diverse communities. I am committed to providing a safe, inclusive environment where you can embrace your diversity and work toward finding joy, peace, and fulfillment. Once we choose to work together, we'll function as partners in your therapeutic journey. It is essential to me that we maintain open communication and that you feel respected in our relationship. I will be there to listen to you, challenge you, and support you throughout the process.

At Relational Wellness Therapy, we love working with students who are trying to make sense of life’s in-between seasons. Maybe you’re juggling classes, relationships, and figuring out who you’re becoming, and it’s starting to feel like a lot. You don’t have to have it all together to show up here. Our student clients often share a common goal: they want to feel grounded, more confident in their choices, and at peace with who they are. We help you slow down, understand what’s really going on underneath the stress, and find tools that actually fit your life. Therapy with us isn’t about perfection. It’s about helping you feel seen, supported, and more like yourself.
Hold Your Own is an invitation. An offer of solidarity, connection, and hope to anyone who has experienced the profound impact of shame, loss, depression, anxiety, conflict- and the many other ways we as humans hurt or feel lost – and an opportunity to work through it together.
