I am deeply passionate about supporting college students and young adults as they navigate this exciting yet often challenging period of life. My clinical practice is rooted in a comprehensive understanding of the unique developmental milestones, pressures, and transitions faced during emerging adulthood. I have extensive experience assisting clients with a wide range of common concerns, including managing the pervasive feelings associated with anxiety and depression, developing effective strategies for ADHD management, and successfully navigating significant life transitions such as starting college, entering the workforce, or adjusting to new relationships. Additionally, I specialize in addressing concerns specific to cultural identity, acculturation, and systemic stress. My therapeutic approach is fundamentally culturally sensitive and trauma-informed. This means I prioritize creating a safe, non-judgmental space where your individual background, experiences, and identity are respected and central to the healing process. I operate with the understanding that past experiences, including trauma, can profoundly impact present well-being. Mental health is not just important—it is absolutely crucial during this formative stage of life. It lays the groundwork for future success, resilience, and happiness. I genuinely believe that investing in your emotional well-being now is one of the most powerful steps you can take. I would be genuinely honored to partner with you as you explore, grow, and strengthen your mental health throughout this transformative journey.

I earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree specializing in Psychiatry from The University of Texas at Arlington. I am proud to say I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am a true believer that not one of my fellow humans is immune to stress, anxiety, and feelings of sadness at some point in their life. We all find ourselves feeling vulnerable at times. It is completely normal to question why we feel the emotions that we do, why we seem to fall apart at times, and better yet, how we can get through it all in one beautiful piece. I think the first step to meaningful recovery from anxiety, depression, complex mental illness, and/or substance use is to reach out and ask for help. It is a difficult, but very brave action. I am not one to judge, look down on, question your past experiences, or current situation. I am very good at rationally breaking down a situation and I can offer practical advice and medication suggestions depending on your goal in mind. Feeling more overwhelmed than usual? Noticing the weight of past experiences getting in your way? Looking to move toward healing? Wanting to lean into a healthier version of yourself? These types of thoughts are common. We all struggle, at times, with how we react to different situations. Our life experiences and environments have an affect on our thoughts, feelings and emotions. I believe that you are capable of breaking patterns that no longer serve you and finding your way towards a more intentional and fulfilling life. I offer support in your growth towards more ease and grounding no matter the circumstance. I will offer you a secure space that is welcoming and open to all as well as filled with compassion, acceptance, and curiosity. I believe that you will find me easily approachable and responsive to your unique needs and experiences. I hold a relational focus because the connection that you and I create is essential for the work it takes to get you closer to what you are looking for in your life. I am authentic and honest in my approach because we are humans coming together in a common experience that requires trust and vulnerability to be able to work on hard things together.

If your mind moves quickly, your to-do list never ends, you feel stretched too thin, or you just feel behind no matter how hard you try - you are not alone! As a School Social Worker of 12 years, a wife to a first responder and a mom of 2, I understand the struggles that students and parents face as well as the pressures of teens and adults who are balancing responsibilities, while quietly carrying the mental load. I work with teens and adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, burnout and the general overwhelm that can come with everyday life. My style is calm, warm, collaborative and down-to-earth, with a little humor mixed in. Therapy should feel comfortable, not clinical. I follow a multi-modal approach, pulling from various evidenced-based methods, based on your needs. I hope to create a calm space to help you untangle what feels chaotic. You deserve an an open, non-judgemental place to share your thoughts and I offer a space where you can show up honestly, think out loud and maybe even laugh a little along the way. My goal is to help you feel calmer, more confident and more equipped to handle what life gives you.

I work with college students and young adults who feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, overthinking, performance pressure, and emotional shutdown — even when they are capable and motivated. Many of the students I support struggle with test anxiety, presentations, interviews, perfectionism, panic symptoms, or the sense that their nervous system goes into “fight or flight” under pressure. Others experience anxiety and depression together, which can affect motivation, focus, and connection. My approach is neuroscience-informed and practical. I use evidence-based therapies including EMDR, ACT, CBT, Polyvagal-informed therapy, and mindfulness-based strategies to help clients regulate their nervous system, reduce reactivity, and build confidence in real-world situations. I provide a supportive, structured space where students can develop tools to manage stress, improve emotional regulation, and move forward with greater clarity and resilience

Online sessions are available. Details can be found at https://ginnyestupinian.com/appointments/ In-person office sessions are now also available for those who would rather come into my office. Board-certified in Clinical Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. I specialize in treating college students who are dealing with severe anxiety, depression, stress, and complex trauma. Over the years, I have worked with many college students who have found themselves feeling anxious and depressed to the point that they can't continue with school. Many students report going down the same rabbit hole; as the demands of college increase, they become strapped for time and start to neglect their usual self-care routines—eating healthy, exercising, and relaxing. Not surprisingly, their mood becomes poor. Sadly, ignoring these early changes will cause things to get worse. Students then reported no longer enjoying activities that were usually the highlight of their day, feeling exhausted continuously but unable to get a good night’s sleep. Next, their class performance suffers; they sometimes miss classes because they can’t get out of bed. In some cases, students find themselves in a dark place, barely eating, and unable to concentrate enough to read even a short paragraph in their books. It is not uncommon that thoughts begin to circle the same unpleasant memories and nagging fears, resulting in a sense of hopelessness and guilt. The good news is that, In many cases, I have been able to help those individuals feel better and develop the resilience strategies they needed so they could continue with school and graduate successfully. When we work together, you can be assured that you will never be judged; everything we discuss will be confidential. You will be provided with the most advanced techniques appropriate to your needs, and they will help you feel better about obtaining the goals you want to reach. No situation is too small or too large that I can't help you with. Call today for more information. 844-802-6512
