I specialize in treating anxiety/OCD and insomnia disorders. I also frequently work with depression, ADHD, self-esteem issues, social/relationship issues, school and work stressors, and perfectionism. I work with adults and teenagers, and I particularly enjoy helping young adults navigate life transitions (e.g. high school to college/work, career changes, breakups and new relationships). Additionally, I work with many individuals from a variety of backgrounds for whom a significant source of stress is current events and the political climate. I strive to make therapy a place where anyone can feel free to express themselves honestly. I incorporate multiple therapy approaches into our work, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness training. For sleep issues specifically, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), which the American College of Physicians recommends as the first-line treatment for insomnia. I work with many people who felt like they were stuck in previous therapy, and my goal is to make our work as productive and useful for you as possible. I love getting to know people and I customize my approach for each individual. If you are interested in learning more about my therapy services, please feel free to reach out by phone, email, or text!

All narratives are unique and it is an honor to have your stories shared with me. I value humor and patience and work to create a safe and open environment with my clients. Suffering is embedded and essential to the human spirit--it allows us to gain perspective, wisdom, and insight. I like to find the light in dark times and help cultivate and grow that light for when we face our next challenges. I will let you know why I am asking about certain areas of your life and will fully and transparently narrate my process so that we can work collaboratively and openly.

The years surrounding college --young adulthood--is a time filled with amazing exploration as well as stress, sadness, and a lot of unknowns. We really begin to learn not just about who we have been to others, but about who we can become. Working with a therapist can offer a way to explore some of these feelings and experiences with someone who has first hand understanding of being a youg adult (we all were at one time!), who wants to get to know who you are becoming and help you find a way to get there with a sense of power and voice. Life can be awesome but it can also be scary and hard sometimes and no-one has to do this alone!

Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Boston, MA

Hi, I’m Molly Johnson and I’m a licensed therapist in both Massachusetts and Minnesota. I’m passionate about helping people heal, deepen their insight, and become more skillful in how they live their life. While I previously offered in-person therapy, I now work exclusively through virtual sessions. Many clients begin with some hesitation, but soon find that virtual therapy feels just as connected and supportive as being in the room together. My therapeutic approach draws from DBT, CBT, and other evidence-based practices, but at the heart of my work is a genuine listening ear, attentive presence and someone who is cheering you on!

These days, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed — anxious, angry, stuck, or just plain exhausted. If that’s where you are, you’re not alone. And your experience matters. Just because others are struggling too doesn’t make your pain any less real. Maybe your mind won’t stop racing. Maybe you feel out of control, trapped in old patterns, or unsure how to move forward. I’ve worked with many people navigating these same waters — helping them find steadier ground, soften anxiety and anger, and reconnect with their creativity, clarity, and relationships. In therapy, you don’t have to have it all figured out. You don’t have to perform. You just have to show up as you are. I offer a grounded, compassionate space where we move at your pace. You bring what’s real — and together, we explore it with honesty and care. Whether you’re looking for support, growth, or space to breathe, our work is about learning to relate to yourself differently — with more freedom, more awareness, and more trust in your own way forward.

Medfield, MA

Hello! My name is Caroline and I am a Boston-based Registered Dietitian passionate about helping you prioritize your relationship with food. After earning my degree in Nutritional Sciences from Boston University, I went on to complete my supervised practice training through Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard Teaching Hospital in Boston, MA. The rigorous nature of this clinical internship, paired with my experience working in all levels of eating disorder treatment, gives me the experience needed to care for a wide range of populations. Whether you have been diagnosed with an eating disorder or your intuition simply tells you your relationship with food/your body is dysregulated, I can help you reclaim your trust in yourself. I take an evidenced-based, HAES-informed, non-diet approach to help you cultivate a nourishing and normalized eating pattern that suits your individual needs. My goal is to build your confidence in making nutrition decisions for a full life!

College (and life in general) can be a lot. Whether you're adjusting to a big transition, feeling disconnected from yourself and those around you, or trying to make sense of things that have happened in your life, you don't have to figure it out alone. I’m a therapist who works with adolescents, young adults, and caregivers, with a special focus on supporting LGBTQ+ folks. I'm part of the LGBTQ community too. I work from a trauma-informed and anti-oppression lens, which means I pay attention to the full context of your life and how the world around you has shaped your experiences. My style is warm, collaborative, and down to earth. I bring humor when it's helpful, and I don't expect you to show up any particular way. You can be messy, unsure, overwhelmed. I’ll meet you there without judgment. Everyone deserves to feel safe and heard. Therapy with me is a place to slow down, get curious, and start making sense of what’s been hard while finding your way back to yourself. I take insurance and offer a free 15-minute call to see if we're a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi, thanks so much for taking an interest in my practice. It takes great courage and awareness to come to the decision to reach out for support. I see clients in my office in Cambridge, MA, near Davis Square, and in Melrose, MA, as well as by teletherapy/videochat. I specialize in helping people to free themselves from the 'silent conversation' that we have with ourselves throughout the day. By understanding how this conversation influences our thoughts, feelings, and actions, it is possible to adapt it to feel more empowered in life. It is my hope that your therapy experience will feel comforting, meaningful, real, and effective in getting to the heart of your core concerns. I work from an integrative framework in a warm and interactive environment, drawing from holistic, cognitive, and psychodynamic influences to help people to reclaim a sense of choice and authorship in their lives. My background includes more than 25 years in clinical healthcare, school, and community settings working therapeutically with individuals, couples, and groups on a wide-range of issues causing acute and chronic distress. My practice is: Queer- and Trans-affirming, Neurodiversity affirming, sex positive, Kink-affirming, and Poly/Non-Monogamy-affirming. I work with individuals and relationships. I like to establish up front that I am a safe person to correct, call-out, interrupt, disagree and argue with. It will not impact our therapeutic relationship. You are the expert of your own life. (If minor is included.) I work with all ages IF conjointly working with the whole system, otherwise I mainly work with adults.
