Hi! I’m Mixi, a bilingual licensed therapist. I understand the impact intrusive thoughts, constant worry and repetitive behaviors have on your well-being and daily life. I have had the opportunity to provide care in private practice, school, and medical settings. This array of experiences has fostered my ability to understand clients through a multi-disciplinary lens. My clinical approach to therapy is grounded in ERP, PE, ACT and CBT. Most of the clients that I work with are navigating OCD, anxiety, trauma, stress, and/or depression. I am a trained OCD specialist and a member of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF). I am dedicated to welcoming adults of all identities. I prioritize learning about my clients to create an inclusive environment that best supports them. My goal is to teach you the skills and tools to make you your own therapist over time. I am licensed to provide Telehealth therapy services to clients in Massachusetts, Washington, Illinois, District of Columbia, and Virginia. The most important part of therapy is building a good rapport with the individual to create a safe and comfortable space. Therapy isn't always easy and neither is the decision to find a therapist; working to ensure clients are comfortable with me and helping them to identify their goals so that the treatment trajectory is predictable, but allows for space to talk about day to day events, if needed. Lastly, ensuring client and therapist personalities align is important as it only enhances the sense of safety and the capacity for positive rapport growth. There is no one intervention that is best for one person. Therefore, I operate with an eclectic combination and knowledge of multiple interventions and techniques as a way to provide the best and most effective strength based and unique treatment. Treatment interventions are individualized in order to align with the identified treatment plan and goals. Individuals have experienced a multitude of events throughout their lives that connect to and impact their capacity to function as they wish within the world today. One persons experiences are never compared or judged; everyone is always doing the best they can in those moments and I want to work with them to help increase what their best looks or feels like.
I work with people who are looking to embark on a process of intentional healing, self understanding, growth and actualization. I'm here to support you if you are struggling with anxiety, depression, identity issues, interpersonal challenges, difficulties with motivation and focus, healing of trauma, and/or wrestling with life's big questions. Therapy, to me, is a highly collaborative process. You are driving the bus and deciding where to go, and I am here to help you navigate through a process of deep listening, reflection, and psychoeducation. Sessions often focus on expressing emotions, needs, desires and boundaries effectively. We can also explore trauma healing, life goals, passions or spiritual beliefs. Examining communication skills and relationship dynamics helps to strengthen interpersonal connections. We can do talk therapy, or add in creativity, play, art making, music and/or movement! Please reach out if you think we would be a good match and we can discuss what it might look like to work together.

If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, lonely, or unsure of yourself, you’re not alone — and I’m really glad you’re here. So many college students and young adults struggle with anxiety, depression, sleep issues, relationship stress, or feeling uncomfortable in their own skin. It can be exhausting to carry all of that by yourself. In our work together, you’ll have a calm, supportive space where you can talk openly, breathe a little easier, and feel seen without judgment. I’m a therapist who genuinely loves helping people understand themselves and feel more grounded in their lives. Sometimes that means learning practical tools to ease anxiety or shift unhelpful patterns. Other times it’s having a quiet, steady place to sit with your feelings and figure out what you truly want. My background includes an undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and master’s degrees in Public Health and Social Work from Tulane University and Westfield State University. My approach draws from psychodynamic therapy, CBT, and DBT, and I blend these methods in a way that feels natural, supportive, and tailored to you. Above all, I want you to feel safe, understood, and hopeful about the changes you’re working toward. This is a space for you — to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with more confidence and clarity.
I've been working with young adults for the better part of the last decade within the context of their homes, schools, communities and families. I have also been supervising young adults as well as older adults in juggling school work and family with their career ambitions. Fostering growth for these folks, including in many marginalized communities is, to me, an incredibly important part of building lives worth living, and growing the strength of our communities. As a white cis-gendered queer therapist I have done my own work on my identity that has allowed me to see and show up for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ folks, as well as supporting other white folks in this work. My practice is rooted in anti-racism, anti-oppression, and health equity. Our mental health is not only our individual biologies and brains, we are shaped by the systems we exist within and this has a direct correlation to our physical well being as well. What you need in therapy may or may not relate to issues of oppression, and it is important for those for whom this is relevant to know there is a space to been seen and acknowledged for the ways this impacts your life. Growth and transitions can be incredible, and also very stressful. If anything you've read here or seen in my profile resonates. I would encourage you to reach out to see if we would be a good fit for the support you are seeking.
We are a small group practice, providing outpatient mental health, behavioral health therapy to individuals, children and couples in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Teletherapy for those residing in MA or NH! As you preparing for or continuing your college journey, it is a time of major transition whether you are moving away from family and friends, attempting a long distance relationship, navigating academics and independence, grappling with identity questions, and relationship challenges, I am here to support you and help you reach your goals.
College can be one of the most exciting and overwhelming seasons of your life. You may be adjusting to being away from home, navigating new relationships, questioning your major, managing academic pressure, or quietly carrying anxiety, depression, or past trauma that hasn’t had space to heal. On the outside, it can look like everyone else is handling it just fine — but inside, you might feel stuck, exhausted, unmotivated, or unsure of who you’re becoming. If you’re in that space, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to work through it by yourself. I work with college students who are in the middle of real life transitions — identity shifts, relationship changes, academic stress, family expectations, grief, trauma, and the quiet weight of self-doubt. Depression during college often doesn’t look like “sad all the time.” It can show up as procrastination, isolation, low motivation, difficulty focusing, or feeling disconnected from the person you used to be. Trauma can show up in relationships, in trust, in sleep, or in how hard you are on yourself. Together, we slow things down. We make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. We identify patterns that are keeping you stuck and build practical tools that help you feel more steady, confident, and grounded. My approach is collaborative and straightforward. I don’t believe in sitting back silently while you struggle to find words. We talk. We process. We challenge unhelpful thoughts. We work through emotional blocks. I integrate approaches such as CBT, trauma-informed care, and other evidence-based strategies to help you build resilience while honoring your story. My goal is not just symptom relief — it’s helping you understand yourself better so you can move forward with clarity and confidence. College is a time of growth — but growth can feel uncomfortable. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, numb, stuck, or unsure about your direction, therapy can be a space to reset and regain momentum. You deserve support as you figure out who you are and who you want to become. If you’re ready to take the next step, I invite you to Request an Initial Appointment and begin therapy. You don’t have to wait until things get worse. Let’s work together to help you regain balance, rebuild confidence, and move through this season with strength.

I’m am a licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Massachusetts, I received my Masters from Cambridge College and have been practicing for 4 years. I help adults struggling with anxiety, depression and trauma. When clients meet with me they can expect to be in a safe environment where they can share their thoughts and feelings in a non judgmental space. In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions. I will go over confidentiality, consents and privacy policy. I will gather some information through a bio-psycho social assessment about you and then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us. Having worked with professionals for the past 4+ years, I've developed and tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

Hi there! Currently I'm providing telehealth via a secure, user-friendly and HIPAA compliant telehealth platform. I see many clients who struggle with anxiety and stress-management, relationship concerns, life-stage stressors, and self-worth/self-esteem issues. College is often described as "some of the best years of your life" ....by well-intentioned people who likely have not experienced life as a college student in the 21st century. Many of my college-aged clients come to therapy seeking guidance once the juggling act of friends, dating, family, homework, classes, labs, group projects, extracurricular obligations, etc...starts to become overwhelming, and "me-time" a distant memory. While therapy itself certainly can't remove anything from your plate, it can help you to reconfigure and re-prioritize your life in a way that can bring greater peace of mind, and restore a sense of balance. Feel free to reach out and we'll see if this can be a good fit for your needs! Melissa
I have 20 years of working with clients on anxiety, burnout, and overwhelm. I love building new wellness practices that are accessible and sustainable -- identifying challenges, utilizing coping skills, and creating easy self-care practices for your day. It's wonderful to see clients shift from having distress at their symptoms to feeling confident about their ability to handle what life throws at them. After 20 years of working and learning, I utilize a wide range of approaches -- the classic Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to reframe unhelpful thoughts, somatic practices like yoga, Emotional Freedom Technique, and mindfulness and breath work to help settle the body, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to get to know with caring and curiosity what is behind the triggers and automatic responses. My pronouns are she/her, and I strive to incorporate a feminist and anti-racist perspective into my work.
