If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in your head, or unsure of who you are or where you’re going, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Therapy can be a space where you feel grounded and comfortable showing up as you are, without pressure or judgment, while we make sense of what’s been weighing on you. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, self-doubt, relationship challenges, family conflict, or major life transitions, my goal is to make you feel supported and respected while you gain insight and confidence in who you are and how to manage whatever comes your way. I work with adolescents, teens, and young adults navigating the pressures of school, relationships, identity development, and expectations from others (and themselves). I also specialize in supporting athletes with confidence, focus, motivation, and returning to sport after injury while staying focused on who you are beyond performance. My approach is collaborative and person-centered. You are the expert on your life, and my role is to help you identify your strengths and values, develop practical tools, and build momentum toward meaningful change. I draw from CBT, DBT, ACT, and Solution-Focused strategies in ways that are flexible and tailored to your needs and values.

My approach is based on cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) that takes client goals and utilizes techniques to accomplish the desired objectives. It is a collaborative, reality-based method informed by mindfulness and life-coaching strategies. This is a holistic approach and can last for 12 sessions or longer based on client’s choice. I encourage and assign homework between sessions and am always open to new ideas that will assist in your growth. I hope to work myself out of a job by sharing treatments and tools that equip you to cope with the daily living of life.. I provide tele-therapy services. Counseling is accessed through a secure, encrypted, HIPPA-compliant video conferencing portal. This method has many advantages including: convenience, eliminating gas/parking costs, time savings, no travel stress, and the lowering of one’s carbon footprint.

My approach is client-centered and grounded in active listening, nonjudgment, cultural responsiveness, and genuine allyship. As a Brazilian, bilingual therapist fluent in English and Portuguese, I understand the importance of honoring each person's unique background, identity, and lived experience. Drawing from my work in crisis intervention, outpatient mental health, schools, and community-based settings, I tailor treatment to meet each client's individual needs and goals. During our first sessions, we will focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship, exploring what brings you to therapy, and identifying meaningful goals f Life can feel overwhelming when you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, or thoughts of hopelessness. I work with teens (16+) through adults, including individuals from migrant and multicultural communities, to help them navigate challenges, build resilience, and move toward a more fulfilling life. Together, we will identify your goals, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you overcome obstacles and create meaningful change. I believe healing and growth are possible when people feel supported and empowered. My hope is that our work together will help you gain insight, confidence, and coping skills while creating a life that feel fulfilled.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in evidence-based treatment for anxiety, OCD-related concerns, phobias, and sleep difficulties Over the past several years, I have noticed that many college students struggle academically due to undiagnosed ADHD, executive functioning challenges, and attention-related concerns that may go overlooked. In response to this need, I have added comprehensive and affordable ADHD diagnostic testing to my practice to help students better understand their difficulties, access appropriate treatment recommendations, and obtain accommodations when clinically indicated for academic settings and standardized testing. In addition to ADHD testing, I frequently work with students experiencing anxiety, obsessive thinking, perfectionism, panic, OCD symptoms, sleep disruption, and stress related to academic performance and life transitions.

I work with LGBTQIA+ folks, neurodivergence, people with trauma histories, depression, anxiety, grief, and difficult family dynamics in individual therapy. I am available virtually and accept many health insurance plans. I always reply to every inquiry and offer free consultations to see if we are a good match and to answer any questions you may have. My style is relational, somatically focused, and rooted in liberation psychology. We might talk about how you are feeling, situations that you've felt that way before, and start to identify patterns of beliefs, reactions, coping strategies. I aim to understand you inside of your context and approach what's going on with you compassionately. If this sounds like something that might be supportive, don't hesitate to reach out.
