Hello, my name is Cody Robinson! I work from the perspective that an individual, couple, or family knows themselves best. However, one may not express one’s viewpoint(s) or challenge(s) in the healthiest way. As your therapist, I aim to meet you where you are and where you want to be with the challenges facing you and/or loved ones through open communication and problem-solving skills. I have vast experience working with diverse populations, including individuals, couples, groups, and families. I have also worked in a variety of diverse settings, including outpatient, community/home-based, correctional, and court. I have assisted clients with a variety of issues, including Anxiety, Depression, Emotional Regulation, obsessive-compulsive disorder, Addictions, and school/life-changing events. I have utilized Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused-CBT, Reality Therapy, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, and Positive Psychology. I am more than happy to meet with you to discuss your and/or your loved ones’ challenges. Feel free to reach out!
The fact that you're here says a lot about you. As a college student looking for a therapist, I can already tell you're brave and hardworking. I specialize in working with college students and young adults who are overcoming anxiety, work-life balance, and perfectionism. I help my clients process their past while still navigating today's challenges. I view myself as a partner, faithful friend, and guide helping you work toward a life consistent with who you want to become. Being in this stage of life is hard. You're constantly evaluated, compared, and criticized. It is my job to help unlock and build on your strengths while offering a helping hand when life feels overwhelming. I take a deep and multifaceted approach with my clients. I specialize in relationship issues, either your relationship with yourself, your partner, friends, or family. I also specialize in anxiety and perfectionism. Not only will we better understand the roots of your anxiety, but together we will practice coping strategies tailored to you. I also specialize in ADHD assessments, especially with unique presentations such as in adults and women. You're not alone in this. Reach out to set up a free 15 minute consultation where we can get to know each other and discuss your goals for therapy or assessment.
I specialize in working with graduate students who are seeking a kind, sensitive, and curious clinician to guide them through the mental health rigors of academia. The journey of completing a graduate degree can be a stressor which exacerbates existing issues of perfectionism and anxiety; but it can also be a time of growth, insight, and self-discovery. My second area of speciality is grief and loss. Grief shows up in many ways, often during points of life transition. Break-ups, divorces, deaths of a loved ones, chronic health issues that can impact daily functioning - these losses are part of life but can be challenging to navigate. Sometimes those around us can be uncomfortable with the intensity or duration of grief, or want to "fix it". Therapy can be a space where you can bring these emotions and have space held for their intensity without judgement. Everyone deserves the chance to experience healing and live a full life. I approach my work with genuine interest to know people- where they have been, what has brought them to where they are now, and where they would like to go. I offer both virtual and in-person options for therapy.

Hi! — I'm really glad you found your way here. College life can be amazing, but it can also be seriously overwhelming. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship struggles, past trauma, or just trying to figure things out, you're not alone. I've spent the past 20 years working with teens and young adults through all kinds of ups and downs. My goal is to give you a safe, honest space to talk, process, and start feeling more like yourself again. If faith is important to you, I also offer Christian counseling as part of our work together — but it's always up to you. No pressure, no judgment — just support for wherever life has you right now.
I believe therapy is a great way to help you turn the pain you feel today into the strength you feel tomorrow. My philosophy is simple “I help people become an expert on one subject, themselves”. We as human beings are very complex and often need help to navigate through stress, trauma, and life challenges. I witnessed first hand how therapy can change the trajectory of one’s life. I am committed to working alongside my clients to help them find their inner healing and peace. I have worked with many different cultures, genders, and people from different backgrounds.
It can be hard to keep going when you feel stuck in your life, whether it is a relationship, a job, or simply just not knowing what to do with the thoughts that come into your head. Maybe you’ve turned to alcohol, food, gaming, sex, or some other way to feel and connect with something, or just check out. This is not the end for you, but a beginning to rewriting the story of your life. Let’s work together toward a plan and action steps that accomplish becoming the connected, clear, and courageous person that will be consistent with your newly-defined values. Men's Issues are the primary focus of my practice. An EMDR Certified therapist, I use a trauma-informed approach to address areas such as: Addictions (Behavioral and Substance), Anxiety, Depression, Health/Wellness, Spirituality (all practices and backgrounds), and PTSD. I also enjoy integrating EMDR with Internal Family Systems, another effective approach. Let's talk before you come in. Feel free to give me a call to discuss what has brought you to seeking help and what you'd like your life to look like after therapy.
Are you trying to reach your goals, but feel like you're running in circles? We can help with improving your happiness, addressing a problem-area in your life, or whatever else you want to focus on. One-size-fits-all counseling doesn't work, so each client's action plans are based on what works best for them. We believe in a mind-body-spirit approach where we need to have Harmony between all three to feel truly fulfilled. Warmth and insight are the foundation of our sessions, especially as we understand we all need someone to be ourselves with. Life can be challenging at times, but we don't have to go through it alone. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions or for more information!

Are you going through a significant life event or change? Or are you ready to work through past distressing memories or traumatic events? Embarking on the therapeutic journey takes courage, as well as finding the right therapist. I specialize in helping those going through significant life events and discernment, individuals who experience depression, anxiety, grief, PTSD, as well as those who identify as LGBTQIA. I prefer to view therapeutic foci through an Adaptive Information Processing Model, rather than through a pathological lens. So many presenting symptoms are actually trauma-related, and that is where healing can start. What if your brain could heal itself? I offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which can be a powerful treatment for PTSD, anxiety, grief, performance improvement, depression and many other conditions. I am trained in the EMDR DeTUR protocol for urge reduction as well (focusing on addictions or other compulsive behaviors). In an effort to accommodate busy schedules, I offer evening and weekend appointments. Together, we will collaborate on goals and a plan while building upon your strengths. I look forward to hearing from you! If interested in EMDR therapy and curious about it, please see www.emdria.org for further information.
I am an EMDR therapist who helps clients with issues such as anxiety, depression, work and school transitions, binge eating, stress management, body image, boundaries, trauma and grief. My approach incorporates Intuitive Eating/Healthy at Every Size, Inner Relationship Focusing and Collaborative Problem Solving. I offer therapy via Telehealth so that we can work together with you in the comfort of your own space, reprocessing the issues that we determine are keeping you stuck, and then utilizing the EMDR modality to help you with future planning and reaching your goals.
