Solange is a Spanish-speaking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Texas. With over a decade of experience as a registered nurse, she has worked in various clinical settings from surgery to home health. For the past three years, Solange served as a Family Nurse Practitioner focused on pain management. Through this work, she recognized the interconnectedness of comorbid conditions and mental health. This inspired her to pursue post-master's training as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through the University of Texas Rio Grande. In her practice, Solange strives for a holistic approach, addressing the full range of her patients' needs and treatment goals. For her clients, she provides the necessary time to discuss their concerns during initial and follow-up appointments. Her comprehensive yet compassionate approach benefits all her clients as she helps them improve their mental health and overall wellbeing. When not working, Solange enjoys gardening in the home she shares with her husband, reading fantasy novels and showing her dog in competitions. She is a person with strong family roots and as the daughter of immigrants, she appreciates the sacrifices her parents made to give her greater opportunities in life. For Solange, health, happiness, and family are inextricably linked, forming the foundation of a rich and meaningful life. Hey there, I’m Calvin—thanks for stopping by! Life can throw a lot at us, and sometimes it feels like no matter how hard we try, we’re stuck spinning our wheels. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone, and I’m here to help. My goal is simple: to provide a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported. I work with men and young adults who are dealing with stress, anxiety, self-doubt, or just trying to figure out their next step in life. We’ll work together to unpack what’s weighing you down and build on your strengths to help you move forward. I’ve spent years as both a school counselor and a therapist, so I know how tough it can be to juggle life’s responsibilities while trying to care for yourself. My approach is down-to-earth and tailored to you. Think of it as two people working through the tough stuff together—with a plan that actually makes sense for your life. If you’re ready to chat and see how we can tackle things together, I’d love to connect. Let’s start working toward the life you want—you don’t have to do it alone.
With 27 years of experience in the counseling field, I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and move toward meaningful, lasting change. I have worked with diverse populations facing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, grief and loss, addiction, relationship challenges, insomnia, and major life transitions. I also have extensive experience supporting individuals living with ADHD, Panic Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia/Schizoaffective Disorder, and Borderline Personality Disorder. Many come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to cope, but motivated for change. I help by providing a safe, nonjudgmental space built on trust, empathy, and active listening. Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, Person-Centered Therapy, Harm Reduction, and Illness Management and Recovery, I tailor treatment to each individual. Reaching out for support can feel difficult, but you don’t have to face things alone. I offer a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can be heard and understood. When you’re ready, I invite you to take that next step toward healing and meaningful change.
Many of the students I work with are bright, capable, and hardworking—but still feel overwhelmed, distracted, anxious, or like they’re constantly falling behind. I specialize in working with college students struggling with ADHD, anxiety, trauma, and relationship stress. Together we focus on understanding how your brain works, improving emotional regulation, building better habits, and reducing shame or self-criticism. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and practical. I integrate CBT, DBT, ACT, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and the Gottman Method for couples. I have over 10 years of experience working with college students and young adults navigating stress, identity, relationships, and life transitions.
Suzie has extensive experience working in mental health using several different unique modalities including sand tray and expressive art. Suzie is passionate about helping children and adults through physical, emotional or sexual abuse. At the same time Suzie worked at Riverside Hospital conducting groups with schizophrenia clients in a day program unit. She later worked in a private practice setting working with a sex therapist with a focus on the LGBT, transgender and sex addiction population. She has also completed her training as an Approved Clinical Supervisor. Suzie has also worked in various roles associated with crisis intervention and volunteered at a domestic violence shelter for women and children. Suzie believes that each individual is unique. Her treatment approach is customized to bring greater self-awareness, psychological healing, and inner satisfaction. Suzie has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in treating psychosis, anxiety disorders, depression, self-esteem issues, mood disorders, and other issues faced in the journey of life. In addition to providing wellness counseling, she works with multiple issues requiring mild to more intensive therapy skills and complicated grief, caregiver, and mood management issues. Deborah knows that everything heals. One of her favorite quotes continues, “Your heart heals. The mind heals. Wounds heal. Your happiness is always going to come back. Bad times don’t last” (Unknown). As a provider, Deborah offers her clients support, guidance and encouragement to help them find the internal cognitive resources needed to increase their resiliency against life’s difficulties. She encourages her clients to begin their work together with an open mind and a readiness to explore different solutions to their challenges. Since childhood, she has had a passion for helping others and, today, loves it when her patients learn to feel empowered and more positive about themselves and their lives. With an empathetic, conversational approach, Deborah explores behaviors, solutions and goals with her patients. She draws from numerous modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-focused (brief) therapy (SFBT), Reality Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Since her clients are often dealing with complex issues, she pulls from multiple approaches in order to address everyone’s needs.

I work with adults and adolescents who are struggling with the challenges of daily life or who feel weighed down by issues of the past. My clients are often people who struggle with anxiety, depression, identity issues, grief, stress, or relationship issues. My ideal client is ready for change, or contemplating what the first steps of change look like. I practice exclusively through teletherapy sessions, and require clients to have reliable and consistent access to internet services. I offer a safe space for BIPOC, women, LGBTQIA+/trans/poly, neurodivergent, and other diverse communities. I am a very direct person, known for my honesty and “cut-to-the-chase” attitude. Over my years of practice, I have become known for my strength in work with teenagers and young adults, who have described me as “relatable” and “trusted.” I also enjoy helping adults work through life transitions and exploring issues of self identity and purpose. I believe strongly in the validation of clients’ feelings and experiences, to help remove stigma and shame. I believe that with support, clients can be empowered to make difficult decisions and take charge of their own growth.
