We are a mental health clinic specializing in emotional health and traumatic stress recovery. We serve individuals ages 16 and up and offer virtual counseling services. Our mission is to provide quality mental health services to our clients through empathy and human care with culturally-relevant counseling practices. Our vision is to empower individuals as they transform their lives, aligning with their greatest potential. We will collaborate with our clients to achieve their therapeutic goals. Dr. Meghan Berger (She/her) has research experience investigating race-based traumatic stress within STEM settings (yep, microaggressions & bias aren't sticks and stones but they sure do hurt!) She is trained in Brainspotting Therapy.
Throughout our lives we are in a constant state of growth. Experiencing life transitions, exploring who we are as people, navigating relationships. These inevitable experiences can be exacerbated by mental and emotional challenges, substance use, trauma, and additional life stressors of school and family life. I help people navigate how to manage it all. Utilizing mind and body based approaches, I will help you learn what it is you need to find healing, balance, and ease through it all.

Hi, I’m Rithy (pronounced as ‘Rit-Tea’). As an openly proud gay man and a first- generation Asian American (Cambodian & Hmong), I deeply recognize how mental health is woven into our identity, culture, and sense of belonging. My own journey has shown me how identity can sometimes act as a barrier to accessing therapy, whether due to stigma, cultural expectations, or a lack of representation in the field. My passion for mental wellness is rooted in the belief that people are the experts in themselves, and therapy should honor their wisdom, strengths, and lived experiences. With over six years of experience in health and human services, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community, Autistic and otherwise neurodivergent individuals, and people from diverse socioeconomic, educational, and intersectional identities. I help clients navigate stress, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Above all, I’m committed to creating a safe, compassionate, and affirming space where people can show up fully as themselves. My intention is to meet you where you are in your mental wellness journey and build on your strengths. Together, we will create meaningful change at a pace and capacity that feels right for you. I believe healing happens in a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and valued. With that in mind, I take a holistic, person-centered approach, promoting an affirming and supportive atmosphere-especially for those exploring LGBTOIA+ identity, relationships, anxiety, and life transitions. I tailor therapy sessions to your unique needs, using modalities like Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Mindfulness, and Psychoeducation. I also use the Gottman Method to help couples strengthen their connection, improve communication, and navigate conflict with compassion. My approach is affirming and tailored to honor the unique dynamics and identities within each relationship
My name is Rachael, and I would be honored to be a part of your journey. I understand that beginning therapy can sometimes feel overwhelming or uncomfortable, but I believe therapy is a collaborative process and I value working alongside clients at a pace that feels comfortable and empowering. I truly enjoy helping people set goals, solve problems and create positive change in their lives; I look forward to working with you.
Hey, take a seat, get comfy! Life throws a lot at us, and it can feel like an uphill battle. So, let me start with this - no matter how messy it may seem, I'm here to listen. It can sometimes feel that society, one’s generation, or our own community has not prioritized our emotional wellbeing. This is our time to navigate the potentially spooky world of vulnerability in a nonjudgmental space. Whether it means we're going to dive into some anxious or depressive thoughts and feelings, explore life transitions you’re going through, or hold space for processing any trauma, this is where we work as a team to navigate these challenges. I provide both virtual and in-person sessions for individuals. I use an approach that works to bridge action steps with emotional attunement. With CBT, Solution-focused techniques, and Polyvagal Theory, I am here to help you discover what path you want to walk. If you find yourself seated across from me, I am a listener, an advocate, and a collaborator. If you can put up with the occasional pun or dad joke, I hope to hear from you! Here at Born to Bend Mental Health & Wellness, PLLC, we offer a safe, nonjudgmental environment. LGBTQ individuals, persons of color, and others marginalized by society are welcome.

Hi, I’m Megan! I’m a licensed therapist in New York, New Jersey, and North Carolina who helps people feeling burned out, anxious, or stuck in survival mode reconnect with balance and purpose. Many of my clients come to me after feeling overwhelmed by work, relationships, or the constant pressure to keep going — even when they’re running on empty. I create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, make sense of what’s been weighing on you, and learn healthier ways to cope. My style is compassionate and collaborative — I meet you where you are and help you build practical tools for stress, boundaries, and self-care that actually fit your life. Before starting my private practice, I worked in behavioral health settings supporting individuals living with substance use, bipolar disorder, and other chronic mental health conditions. That experience taught me that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all — and that real change happens when therapy feels safe, personalized, and empowering. If you’re ready to move from burnout to balance, I’d love to help you take that next step.
When is the last time you felt unconditionally accepted, exactly as you are? It's my belief and experience that among all of our deepest desires is the longing to be fully seen, validated, and loved, when all the masks are taken away - for who we truly and authentically are. I offer a safe, heartfelt, compassionate space in which individuals can reveal their deepest vulnerabilities. I specialize in working with trauma, women's issues, sexuality, grief, addictions recovery, and spiritual crisis / emergence. I offer individualized and personalized treatment. I utilize an inclusive approach to therapy that’s somatic, mindfulness-informed and nature-based. By allowing clients to reconnect with the wisdom of the body, the natural world, and the present moment, I hold a space for transformation. Does the thought of traveling to a therapist’s office feel like a barrier to getting help? My virtual sessions, conducted via video platform or phone, offer you support where and when you need it, from the comfort of your own home. Please don't hesitate to reach out for a free consultation. I look forward to hearing from you!
