I’m Kayla Billger, a licensed clinical social worker who works with adults who are tired of feeling overwhelmed, worried, and stuck in the past. I am here to offer you a space where you feel comfortable processing your feelings and learning to cope with the difficulties of everyday life. Together, we can learn how to navigate distressing thoughts and emotions, while creating momentum that leads towards a life that feels valuable and meaningful to you. The one where you feel empowered, peaceful, and fulfilled. Sessions will provide you with the space to be understood and heard. It is important to me to create a safe environment and ensure that the process is collaborative. I believe that therapy is more than just listening and nodding. I strive to be an active part of sessions, offering individualized feedback in identifying and meeting your goals. I use a combination of techniques and interventions from: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

If you’re here it’s likely because you find yourself struggling. Perhaps you’re in the midst of a transition - a new job, a new city, the end of a relationship, or the loss of a loved one. You’re not sure how to navigate the situation and the feelings associated with it are intense. Maybe you’re like the estimated 21 million U.S. adults living with depression. You can’t find any motivation. You’re crying for seemingly no reason. Maybe you’re like the estimated 42.5 million U.S. adults who live with anxiety. You can’t find rest. Your thoughts race and you feel on edge all the time. I'm here to walk with you. In our work together we will navigate immediate challenges but also find new insights and a deeper self-awareness that will help you develop a healthier relationship with yourself and others. I often draw from Cognitive Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and most prominently from a Psychodynamic approach to guide you through this process of change. Whether you're new to therapy or have been through several courses in the past it is my hope that our work together will offer you new perceptions that can be used for change and help you feel more comfortable with you.

We all experience times of change, transition, and stress that can affect mood and anxiety. I offer an active, collaborative working relationship grounded in respect, transparency, and a deep desire to help clients heal and grow. Clients have remarked that I am particularly skilled in helping them navigate and grow through life transitions and take responsibility for and develop ways of coping and responding to life stresses that honor their multiple and intersecting identities and values, while also encouraging them to stretch, consider, and apply new perspectives and skills. I have over 25 years of experience as a therapist in a university counseling center and have extensive experience with undergraduate and graduate students. I am committed to helping people create and sustain a satisfying and purposeful life. With the intention of helping them move toward a greater sense of overall well-being, I enjoy working with clients around life transitions, career exploration, identity exploration, managing societally induced stress particularly related to marginalized identities, and those experiencing concerns related to career and work. I have extensive training and experience with mindfulness and integrate that into my therapeutic work. Beyond therapy, I provide Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction courses and mindfulness-based classes for groups. Please contact me to schedule a free, 15-minute phone conversation so we can talk more about what he's looking for, I can explain more about my practice, and we can see if it mutually feels like a good fit to take the next step and schedule an initial meeting.

As a relational, attachment-based therapist, I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a powerful vehicle for change. As a systemic therapist, I also believe that the systems you’re part of matter, and that your experience can’t be understood outside of those systems. You may have had the experience of “getting” something on a logical level, yet finding that knowledge to be inadequate or insufficient. I believe real change has to be felt, not just rationalized. So I focus on creating a relationship where it’s safe to take relational risks and have new experiences that create change on a deeper level. Within the relationship, the work can take many forms. We may start by looking into your past, as I believe the past is important in understanding the present, and that it’s useful for helping you understand your attachment style and relational patterns. And if you’re one of the many neurodivergent people who have experienced trauma, we can draw on Internal Family Systems/parts work and Emotion-Focused Therapy to help heal your younger self. My goal is to always meet you where you are, and sometimes that might mean taking a more practical, skills-based approach. This could mean developing strategies to manage overwhelm, big emotions, and struggles with organization, time-blindness and prioritization. For example, you may be feeling like you know what you need to do yet still can’t get it done. Here I also draw on my background as an ADHD coach, and use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Internal Family Systems to help you understand the emotions that may be getting in your way, see the different parts that create internal conflicts for you, and change how you relate to these parts.

At Cognitive Pursuits, I provide therapy for athletes and high-achieving professionals and academics who want to strengthen their mental health and enhance performance. With over a decade of clinical experience, including leadership roles at Thomas Jefferson University, I specialize in helping clients manage anxiety, depression, substance use, self-doubt, and burnout. I integrate cognitive-behavioral therapy, positive psychotherapy, and existential psychotherapy—among other evidence-based techniques—to create a supportive, practical, and collaborative space where clients can make meaningful progress toward their goals. I offer both traditional therapy and Performance Anxiety Therapy Intensives — focused, short-term programs designed to help clients gain clarity, build confidence, and develop effective strategies to perform at their best while maintaining balance and wellbeing. Services are available virtually to residents of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. My name is Meghan Morley - I’m a licensed therapist, former NCAA athlete, and personal trainer. My background in both mental health and performance psychology allows me to understand the unique pressures faced by driven individuals—whether in competition, academics, or demanding careers. Before founding Cognitive Pursuits, I served as Clinical Operations Manager at Thomas Jefferson University’s Center on Community Substance Abuse Programs and currently am an adjunct professor at St. Joseph's University counseling graduate program. My work is grounded in the belief that high performance and wellbeing don’t have to compete. I help clients quiet mental noise, build resilience, and reconnect with a sense of confidence and purpose that extends far beyond achievement alone.

I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology and hold credentials as both a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have been in the field a little over 10 years and have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns; including depression, anxiety, identity formation, crisis management, addiction, and life transitions. My counseling style is very person-first and engaging. I believe in incorporating different therapeutic techniques in order to meet you exactly where you are during each interaction. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, person-centered, and solution-focused techniques. My goal is to have you feel comfortable and help guide you to develop healthy skills that encourage empowerment and self-discovery. Outside of my career, I am an animal lover that enjoys traveling. I enjoy being physically active and believe the best gifts are those you can experience! I am a fan of all Italian food and find comfort relaxing while watching a good movie or reading a thrilling book. I strongly advocate the concept of self-care and overall life balance. I understand how vulnerable and overwhelming it can feel to seek counseling and I appreciate the courage my clients display by doing so. I hope to support and provide encouragement as we begin this process together. I believe that every individual has the ability to overcome struggles and learn how to highlight their strengths that they may not even be aware they have! I look forward to working with you! "You're Braver than you believe. Stronger than you seem. and Smarter than you think." - A.A. Milne

I'm a trauma therapist offering online therapy to college students throughout Pennsylvania. My specialty is IFS-informed EMDR: EMDR helps your brain reprocess painful memories so they lose their grip on the present, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) brings compassion to the parts of you that learned to protect you in hard times. Together, they let us work through trauma at a pace that feels safe — without having to retell your story over and over. Many of the students I work with are carrying more than a heavy course load: childhood wounds, anxiety that won't switch off, depression, ADHD, or the pressure of holding it all together far from home. Therapy with me is a place where all of that can be looked at without judgment. I believe we can let go of our past and accept ourselves as we are — and that self-acceptance is the first step toward change. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, certified in EMDR (EMDRIA) and trained in IFS (IFS Institute) and DBT, with a master's in Counseling Psychology from Temple University and eight years of practice. Sessions are $185 with sliding-scale spots available, and I provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. I offer a free 20-minute consultation — reach out and let's see if we're a good fit.

As an art therapist, I offer a space where creativity becomes a path to healing, self-understanding, and empowerment. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ individuals, those healing from trauma, and folks who identify as neurodivergent. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, or life transitions, you're welcome here—exactly as you are. My approach is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and rooted in the belief that self-expression can be a powerful tool for insight and growth. You don’t need to consider yourself an artist to benefit from art therapy. Together, we use creative processes—drawing, painting, or exploring imagery—as a way to access what words alone may not fully capture. I know that therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. I aim to co-create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported in moving at your own pace. My hope is that this work helps you reconnect with your inner voice and build emotional resilience. If you’re looking for a therapist who brings warmth and creativity, I’d be honored to walk with you on your journey.

While I feel that anyone could use the extra help and insight therapy provides, my specialities include issues related to college, job/career, and women’s issues. You deserve the opportunity to be heard and held as you face challenges. Through compassion and humor, I will work with you to cultivate the unique and special relationship between therapist and client that will help guide you. I offer an eclectic approach, borrowing from mindfulness, relational, CBT, attachment-focused, and other modalities. My approach is based on the individual needs of the client, rather than a one-size-fits-all. I come from a place of cultural humility, respecting gender, sexuality, social and racial justice. I understand how each individual is more than the sum of their parts; rather than pathologizing, I support each client as they identify and then build upon their strengths.
