As a therapist, I encourage you to bring the “messiest” parts of yourself into the room during our sessions. I strive to create a safe, yet empowering space for all my clients, especially for those who hold marginalized identities. I let you set the pace of treatment and help you build confidence in your innate abilities to persevere and heal during difficult seasons of life. I also encourage you to provide feedback throughout our time together, so that we can make treatment as impactful and positive as possible. I believe that the most important aspect of our work together involves building a strong therapeutic relationship, so you can also expect a deep interest in you as a person outside of presenting concerns or diagnoses. Feel free to reach out if I sound like a good fit for you and your current needs. Either way, I wish you luck on your healing journey!
Maybe you’ve been through relational trauma, adoption, or foster care, or had to play the “responsible one,” or learned early on to keep the peace, stay perfect, and not take up too much space. Maybe you’re just tired of feeling anxious in relationships, like you’re never quite sure where you stand—or who you’re allowed to be. You deserve support that really gets it. The Therapy Center for Transformative Growth (TCTG) was founded by two adoptees from foster care—also therapists—who couldn’t find the kind of care they needed, so they built it. Our center is a space for anyone navigating complex family dynamics, attachment wounds, identity questions, and the lasting impact of early or repeated loss. We’re especially attuned to supporting college-aged adults, BIPOC folks, LGBTQIA+ communities, and women—people whose stories are often misunderstood, minimized, or ignored altogether. Our therapists help you name what’s been hard, understand how it’s shaped you, and find new ways to move through the world—with more clarity, connection, and compassion for yourself. Therapy with us isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about helping you come home to yourself.
I assist in helping my clients find meaning and fulfillment in life by being engaged and by actively guiding you through your unique life challenges. Most of my clients come see me because they just know life could be better. It HAS to be. For many people who walk through my door, their lives aren't shattered, lying breathless in the corner. These people get up every single day and do the thing. But somehow, somewhere, something still feels off. Maybe it's your relationship. Maybe it's you. Maybe you don't know what it is, but life just doesn't seem right. You're not fully happy. Not yet. I help couples, families, and individuals live better. How? By having lived lots of lives, I've developed a unique perspective. One that has allowed me to develop a mental wellness expertise that mixes therapeutic techniques found in human services and combines them with the results-oriented coaching and leadership skills derived from the professional services field. This specific meld of mojo enables me to provide a different kind of service and perspective where other help may have been unsuccessful.

It's easy to get lost in our own minds. It's common to feel conflict and tension within ourselves as we navigate life's ups, downs and variety of curveballs. So many of us end up saying "A part of me feels.... and yet another part of me feels the complete opposite!". Whether it's anxiety, OCD, depression, relationship turmoil, uncertainty on identity or goals....we can face life's twists and turns together. I'm here to lend an ear and a helping hand. I'm passionate about therapy approaches and tools that are shown to help. Educating my clients and empowering them to take nuggets of awareness or action from each session into life is top of mind for me when we meet. I have years of experience helping folks sort through the burdens of anxiety, depression, emotion regulation struggles, relationship patterns, and OCD. It's always my top priority to work as a team - two humans sitting down in a sacred space to unravel the knots of uncertainty, discover your inner strengths and craft new approaches that can open up the road ahead.
