I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides clients with a supportive and non-judgmental environment while empowering them to become the best versions of themselves. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe space where clients can explore primary interests, develop goals, and determine strengths and assets. I have experience working in various treatment settings including inpatient mental health, school based settings, and residential substance use treatment facilities. I specialize in working with high school and college students, focusing on the unique challenges and transitions that come with these formative years. Whether you're navigating academic pressures, relationship dynamics, or personal identity issues, my goal is to provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. Whether you're navigating relationship challenges, major life transitions, trauma, anxiety, or depression, I’m glad you’re here seeking support. Rather than focusing on happiness as a fixed goal, I help clients explore what fulfillment means in the context of their lives. Fulfillment allows space for the full range of emotional experiences supports a more honest, grounded way of engaging with yourself and the world. ClinicalApproach I bring a systems-oriented lens to our work together, considering how our early relationships and life experiences shape our current sense of self, the way we connect with others, and how we move through the world. My integrative approach draws from several evidence-based modalities including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) But above all, I'm client-centered. I've seen what happens when therapy gets too rigid or robotic, when the humanity of it gets lost. That’s not what you’ll get with me. I’ll use evidence-based methods and also meet you with honesty, care, and a good sense of when to push and when to pause.

Hi, I’m Tori — a therapist, theatre-maker, sourdough enthusiast, and firm believer that we’re all just doing our best to make sense of being human. My work is for anyone who’s ever thought, “Am I the drama?” — and then realized, maybe, a little. I love working with women, queer folks, and anyone who doesn’t quite fit into the neat boxes the world tends to hand out. My special heart-space is for college-aged and younger women trying to navigate identity, independence, relationships, and the wild, weird in-between of figuring it all out. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years in the theatre — helping people tell their stories, find their voices, and sit in the beautiful chaos of being seen. That same creative spirit is what guides me in therapy. Together, we’ll look at what’s working, what’s not, and gently (or not-so-gently) challenge the stories that keep you stuck. My background is in trauma and crisis work, with training in CBT, narrative therapy, and evidence-based approaches — but the heart of my work is connection. I want you to feel like you can show up as your whole self here — messy, brilliant, funny, heartbroken, healing, or all of the above. When I’m not in session, I’m usually baking bread, playing with my dogs, or daydreaming about planting too many flowers in my (slightly shady) backyard garden. Therapy with me isn’t about being “fixed” — it’s about being found.

Anxiety is our least-welcome companion. It holds us back when we try to take a step forward. It stands in the way when we try to connect with others. It convinces us that the world is scary and the safest place is our home. Anxiety wears many masks, but the best defense is learning how to identify it when it pops into our lives and combat it with a variety of techniques you will learn in therapy. Together we can chip away at what holds you back in your life and build strong coping skills that will prepare you for a successful life ahead. Right now I'm offering both in-person and Tele-therapy appointments. Check out my website SeanDCleary.com for more information or if you'd like to get in touch. I look forward to meeting you.

My style of therapy is very laid back, as I believe comfort is the most important part of the therapy process. In order to discuss difficult topics or begin to work towards goals, there has to be a strong therapeutic relationship. I begin to build this relationship by getting to know my client's personalities, family structure, work life, friendships, etc. Once I get to know you, I can better understand patterns, coping skills, and/or emotions that may be occurring in response to stressors. I also am very client-centered and will tailor the therapy process around what is best for each client. Everyone is different and that means that therapy will look different for each person.

Therapy is an opportunity to alleviate emotional pain and also a safe space to reflect and grow. When seeking therapy, many people might be unsure of what they want and afraid of the uncertainty. My hope is to help you walk through a healthy perspective to replenish a meaningful and rewarding life where you could see yourself more completely and inspire yourself to be the calm within the storm. With a compassionate, non-judgmental, and psychologically mindful space, I hope you will feel deeply understood and optimistic. I work from a genuine, authentic and collaboratively open style. My work is tailored to each client’s needs and presenting problems. During our sessions, we may focus on discovering new coping strategies to manage problems, widening your perspective, providing tools to overcome stressors, facilitate insight as well as promoting self-care and resiliency. Having an international background, I value diversity and I am deeply attuned to your unique social and cultural identity and its effect on your individuality, sense of purpose and meaning in life. Currently, I am a full-time Staff Psychologist at the University of Pennsylvania, Counseling and Psychological Services. Check my WEBSITE for more information!
