Life transitions can be tough, especially when navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, or other challenges. Whether you're adjusting to a new phase of life, struggling with focus, motivation, or emotions, you're not alone. I'm Kate, an LCSW, and I specialize in helping adults build structure, confidence, and coping skills. Together, we'll find strategies tailored to your unique needs. If you're feeling stuck, stressed, or uncertain, therapy can help you regain control and move forward with clarity. I believe therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, so I tailor my methods to each individual. Using strengths-based approaches, mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, I help clients build resilience, improve emotional regulation, and work toward meaningful change. Outside of my work, I enjoy training my dogs, cooking, and reading to stay balanced. Taking the first step is tough, but you don’t have to do it alone. Whether managing ADHD, anxiety, or life transitions, I’m here to help. Let’s work together to create real change and build the life you want. Reach out today to schedule a session and start your journey toward clarity, confidence, and balance. I look forward to connecting with you!

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to figure things out alone — I’m here to support you. I’ve been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2016 and work with teens, college students, and adults, with a primary focus on ages 18–60+. I support people with concerns like anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, self-esteem, burnout, and big life transitions. My goal is to create a calm, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can talk openly about what’s really going on and learn healthier ways to handle life’s challenges. I especially enjoy working with students who are juggling academic pressure, perfectionism, relationship stress, identity questions, and the feeling of being overwhelmed. Therapy with me is collaborative and practical. We focus on what you want to work on and what will actually help in your day-to-day life. I like to give you tools, insight, and strategies you can use outside of session, not just talk about problems. I’ll meet you where you are, support you, and gently challenge you when it helps you grow. We focus mostly on the present and future, and we explore the past when it’s useful for your healing. My hope is that you leave sessions feeling more grounded, confident, and capable of handling whatever comes next.

I am training to become a Play Therapist, these skills can be used with children or teen, though I also aim to use those skills with adults as well. My space has plenty of toys and items to encourage therapeutic growth. In addition, I use the scientific methods of Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavior therapies to assist in the growth of each person. This is my philosophy when it comes to our therapy sessions and my own life; Laughter, play and accountability allow us to create, and live healthy and meaningful lives. No matter your struggles, your child's concerns, or the hurt within your family: I will do my very best to ensure you are heard and you gain the appropriate tools and skills needed.

Psychologist
Georgetown, TX

Hello! I’m Dr. Ryne Pulido. I’m a husband, father, and psychologist in Texas. I’m so excited to help folks build lives experienced as worth living and sharing. I started out as a therapist for children, adolescents, and young adults. Initially, “young adult” referred to college students. Then “young adult” expanded to include medical and law school students. And then it expanded to include early career professionals. Now, it has expanded to early career professionals struggling to #adult. Your struggle is real. Many of my clients struggle with intense emotional pain stemming from feelings of unlovability and fear of rejection. Their pain acts like an emotional dictator that commands them to withdraw from friends, family, work, school, hobbies, passions, interests, and other activities that make life worth living. Increasingly distant from their values (who they want to be deep inside their hearts) and goals (what they want to accomplish), they feel directionless and unsure of their best life because they’re so focused on protecting themselves from emotional pain. If this sounds like you, know it doesn’t have to be this way. You deserve a life worth living and sharing. Imagine what it would be like to control your actions (the things you do and say) amidst an emotional storm. What if you could be the person you want to be and move toward your goals just 20% more often? What would your relationships be like? Where would your career be? How much better would your sleep be?! Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) I utilize a modern form of the tried-and-true Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Although ACT involves a radically new approach to happiness, over 1,000 clinical trials have been published in peer-reviewed journals, demonstrating its effectiveness with diverse populations struggling with a wide range of psychological problems. ACT is focused on creating richer, fuller, and more meaningful lives rather than solely symptom reduction. When your life is bigger, the pain is smaller by comparison. ACT is a very active form of therapy. It’s not just talking about your problems and feelings (although there is always space for that). You will learn practical skills to move from struggling to flourishing. We will move through the program step-by-step, learning skills that build on each other. The good news is the skills are easy to learn and effective. You are headed into the unknown. Unfortunately, counseling and therapy is not 100% effective. Although I accept commercial insurance (if you go through Alma) and the Lotus Fund, the risk of committing time, money, effort, and heart to something that doesn’t work out is very real. I also can’t promise that you won’t feel uncomfortable, judged, and misunderstood, but you will have permission to express yourself and stop anything that is uncomfortable. I’ll listen with an open mind and you’re in the driver’s seat. But you are not alone. It’s your journey, but we’re a team—working together to help you become the person you want to be and build the life you want to live and share. All brains matter. I’ve spent my entire professional career working with neurodivergent folks and their families. I have a special place in my heart for ADHDers, autistics, and people with strong personalities. Are you in Texas, prefer virtual care, and ready to get to work? You can contact me by email (admin@rynepulidophd.com) or by calling or texting 512-537-4743. (Note it can take up to 72 hours for me to return a call, email, or text. If you are in a mental health emergency, call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest ER). …and if you’re sort of ready that’s cool too. Reach out to me to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation! Need financial help? I offer sliding-scale fee slots via Open Path Collective. These slots are extremely limited, so please get in touch with me before signing up to work with me. I also accept the Lotus Fund via the Asian Mental Health Collective.

Hey there! If you're a college student dealing with anxiety, depression, or any other struggles, know that you're not alone. As a therapist with 20 years of experience, 15 of which have been spent working directly with clients like you, I've seen a lot of what you're going through. College can be a tough time, filled with transitions, family conflicts, and the weight of expectations. But guess what? It's okay to not be okay sometimes. It's normal to feel overwhelmed by job anxiety, financial stress, or the pressure to keep up appearances on social media. That's where therapy comes in. By talking things out with someone who understands and supports you, you can start to feel better. Together, we can work on building your confidence, improving your relationships, and finding healthier ways to cope with whatever life throws your way. So if you're ready to take your life and your goals to the next level, why not give therapy a shot? It could be the best decision you make for yourself. And remember, reaching out for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. I'm here for you whenever you're ready to talk. Take care, Kathryn

The clients I work best with are: 🌱 Overwhelmed high-functioning perfectionists who like bad jokes. 🌱People who are done with dieting because they know it doesn't work even though they wish it did. 🌱Spiritual weirdos who like tarot, manifestations, energy work, and finding balance with the universe 🌱 People who care about everyone else, leaving themselves for last and wanting someone to call them out when it's not working 🌱 People who make jokes about or completely ignore their trauma in order to deal

Hi, I’m Marie, and I’m so glad you found me. I’m here for the ones who’ve always felt a little different, a little out of place, the "oddballs" who don’t see themselves reflected in the world around them. Life isn’t always sunshine and rainbows, and I’m not going to pretend it is. But just because it’s hard doesn’t mean you’re powerless. My goal is to help you find your power- not by ignoring the darkness, but by showing you that you can still grow despite it. I want to help you believe in the possibility of happiness again, even if you’re not sure what that looks like right now. I’ve dedicated many years to learning how to support mental health, but the heart of my work is making you feel safe, seen and validated. I specialize in trauma and life transitions like finishing high school and starting college, changing careers, moving (to or around Texas), getting divorced, exploring gender identity, or navigating a breakup. If you’re feeling stuck, broken, or like you’ll never feel normal again, I’m here to tell you that you don’t have to be "normal" to feel whole. Together, we’ll navigate the mess and the pain, in a space where you don’t have to filter yourself or shrink to fit someone else’s idea of “okay.” If that sounds like what you're looking for, please reach out.

My clients tend to feel like they haven’t fully fit, often misunderstood in their environments. The stories we tell ourselves are very important, often they are stories that others have told us or placed on us. I believe that there is power in taking back our story and discovering what aspects you wish to keep or change. I approach therapy in an existential and narrative lens, with somatic and mindfulness influences to create a safe, inviting, and culturally sensitive therapeutic relationship. Some of my clients are discovering who they are, where my role is to give you a safe, inquisitive playground to explore parts of yourself. Other clients understand themselves, but may struggle living their true self in different contexts. Ultimately, I pay close attention to the why underlying your narrative to identify the meaning in what you bring up. Sometimes, these intersections are particular visible in our relationships. I offer couples and family counseling using a transgenerational lens & Gottman Institute techniques for pre-marital counseling. I offer free 20 minute consultation calls to discuss our goodness of fit.

Do you find yourself constantly putting others first? Often at the expense of your own needs? Do you struggle to say “no” without guilt, or question your worth when you’re not being productive or perfect? You’re not alone. I work with women and teenage girls who feel stuck in patterns of people-pleasing, poor boundaries, and self-doubt; women & girls who are ready to reclaim their voice, reconnect with their identity, and finally start loving themselves deeply and unapologetically.

You'll learn evidence-based techniques like cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and exposure therapy to regulate physiological arousal, challenge distorted thinking, and gradually confront your issues. You'll discover that you have the innate ability to rewire your thought processes, let go of what's no longer serving you, and step into a life of greater calm, confidence, and fulfillment.
