I am an emotion-focused and trauma-informed therapist for individuals ages 10 and up, with clinical experience in a wide depth of reasons one might seek out therapy, including relational trauma, depression, anxiety, identity issues, self-esteem, emerging adulthood, psychosis, attachment, self-harm, life transitions, parenting support, and more. I know there can often be mixed feelings when starting therapy, and I see your courage. I look forward to meeting you where you’re at, getting to know you, and witnessing your growth in our work together. Please reach out today to take the next step on your healing path. I believe that you are the expert in your own life and growth is always possible, which is why I’m passionate about being an active partner who helps you step into your most authentic self. I attune my intervention approaches to your specific needs while most often utilizing existential, attachment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and strength-based approaches to achieve your goals for growth and work toward your most fulfilling life. If seeking couples therapy, I utilize Gottman and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) approaches most often. If seeking therapy for your child, I have a background in play therapy, including attachment play therapy approaches. Working together, you can expect a warm, wholistic, curious, and collaborative environment as we collaborate to manage the challenging parts of life. I bring my compassion and authenticity each day to help guide you through your own healing journey. When I’m not in the therapy room, I’m often out in nature, whether that’s on a photography hike, camping, or learning snowboarding. I also enjoy recharging through quality time with loved ones, board game nights, or maybe planning my next national park getaway!

I often work with students who are dealing with anxiety, school stress, family conflict, or feeling overwhelmed by expectations. You might feel like you’re trying to keep everything together while struggling on the inside. In therapy, we’ll slow things down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and develop skills that help you feel more grounded in yourself and supported in life. I also encourage parent coaching sessions to help caregivers learn tools to better support their child’s emotional growth.

I'm passionate about walking alongside people who have a sense that, "Maybe, just maybe, it doesn't have to always be this way." Perhaps you're feeling stuck in the same relational dynamics, holding beliefs and ideas about yourself, others, and the world that no longer seem helpful, or wanting to figure out what it might look like to be a more healthy, whole, and honest person. Many of us often have a desire for life to look different, but we might not be sure how to get there. I view therapy as a process that can help us discover more about where we've been, who we are becoming, and how we want to live. I have extensive experience treating anxiety, panic, depression, shame, acute and complex trauma, and working with people seeking to heal from family wounds, relational patterns & distress and religious & spiritual harm. I help people set boundaries in line with their values, find greater safety with themselves, and practice new ways of being. I have pursued training in many areas such as addiction, neurobiology and anxiety, attachment, complex trauma, and EMDR. I’m queer, and I work significantly with the LGBTQ+ community and am affirming of all orientations and identities. I'd love to talk with you further in a free 15-minute phone consultation!

I believe issues in our lives arise from a lack of connection to others and to the internal parts within ourselves. Once we strengthen these connections and resolve inner conflict, we are able to reach a state of feeling more integrated and authentic. You are the expert of yourself and I will honor that in our work together. As a counselor, I view my role as walking next to you while you process the areas of your life that are troubling you. We will know you have gotten what you needed from our work together when you feel empowered to navigate your life's challenges confidently.

Welcome To Our Group Practice A message from the Founder and Clinical Director: I want you to know how excited I am to meet you. I light up when I think about ways I can support you and be a part of ushering human beings into a new world. I feel hopeful when I see the work of Brene Brown, HeatherAsh Amara, Tara Brach and many others like them who are doing work on a large scale to help us move out of the old paradigm of living from the head- comparison, acquisition, power at all costs, being the smartest person in the room, and fierce independence. We are evolving into heart-centered living- which is practicing empathy, compassion, acceptance, cooperation, openness, interdependence and curiosity. This is how I want to live, do you? I believe it is possible and heart-centered living starts with healing past wounds and freeing up our energy to take responsibility for our lives. I was a kid who had a lot of energy. I loved doing cartwheels in the grass, voraciously reading every single one of the books in the Babysitters Club series and climbing the weeping willow trees that grew near my house. I've always loved exploring, learning, and moving my body. Now, I use that energy to climb rock walls, hike mountains, and enthusiastically lead therapists in our thriving private practice while facilitating a kick-ass women's empowerment program. I get energized when I feel into how much healing we get to do together. I have discovered my gifts of curiosity, intuition, and a natural tendency to care about and hold compassionate space for others. I channel this into my work with individual clients, workshops that I facilitate, and the mentorship and training that I offer to the therapists who work with me at Insight. I want you to feel excitement about your life and journey towards bringing your gifts forth. We can help you discover who you are under the layers of self-protection, survival mode, and numbing the overwhelm. The first steps toward this is saying yes to yourself, beginning your healing, and trusting the process. Our group practice offers so many avenues for growth. We have specialties in EMDR, Internal Family Systems, group work and workshops, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Feminist Therapy, Existential Therapy, and more. Explore our website to see what speaks to you and reach out to our Client Care Coordinator. She can determine who and what will be the best fit for your goals. If you feel a YES rising in you, if you want to live more from your HEART and SOUL- then give us a call and schedule your first appointment or join our next workshop. You are worth it. You matter. Take the leap! With Love, Respect, and Hope, Bethany

My name is Jennifer Koch (She/Her). I am a 30 year experienced somatic mind-body oriented therapist who provides support for adolescents and adults moving through issues related to depression, anxiety, PTSD, sexual abuse survivors, medical trauma, falls/injuries, car accidents, substance use, grief/loss, LGBTQIA+ and other life transitions. Are you struggling with feeling confident in your own skin? Are you feeling uncertain or fearful? Are you overwhelmed by what has happened to you? Have you experienced trauma and aren’t sure how to move forward? Are you longing for deeper connection with others? Are you exhausted from the prejudice and discrimination you face? Looking for a queer/gay therapist? Or open to one? My name is Jeff Paulez (he/him) and I am a Licensed Psychologist in Colorado. We each possess unique strengths and values that shape who we are. As your therapist, my goal is to help you access those strengths to navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion. With a background in neuroscience and 8 years of clinical experience, I work with adolescents through older adults and have supported those affected by Alzheimer’s Disease and Functional Neurological Disorder. I also focus on relationships, women’s health, academic distress, and queer mental health. I strive to create a warm, affirming space where clients feel seen and understood in the fullness of their identity. I tailor therapy to each client’s unique story, needs, and goals. Grounded in neuroscience, my approach is eclectic and client-centered. I draw from ACT, Narrative Therapy, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, IFS, feminist theory, and trauma-informed somatic practices. Together, we explore values, identity, internal parts, and the mind-body connection. My role is to walk alongside you as a collaborator and supporter. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore difficult emotions, past experiences, and present-day challenges at your own pace. Together, we’ll reconnect with your inner wisdom and resilience while building greater self-understanding and well-being.
