I have been a practicing psychotherapist for over 30 years and work with individuals, couples and groups. This work focuses on helping people develop more fulfilling lives with better relationships, good self-care and an enriched sense of well-being. The second way I help people is as a neuropsychologist, evaluating and treating individuals with neurocognitive disorders. Everyone in my practice is treated with the utmost respect and nonjudgmental regard for their individual traits. I strive to meet all clients with integrity experience, skill, trust, empathy and authenticity.
I am currently accepting new clients! Poor boundaries, putting others first, fear of outcomes, and lack of self-trust leads to people-pleasing, perfectionism, self-doubt, hurt feelings, resentment, poor self-esteem, unhealthy relationships, anxiety, depression, etc., ultimately is what leads people to therapy! Most people have not learned how to handle uncomfortable situations in healthy ways that feel comfortable specifically to them. Allow me to guide you with trusting yourself enough to choose you each time regardless of the outcome! When we put ourselves first, we will show up as our best selves! I specialize in a wide range of issues including depression/anxiety, coping with life transitions, communication in relationships, and parenting. I enjoy working with women, men, couples, and families with a myriad of challenges. I provide a supportive, culturally competent, judgment-free environment, specifically tailored to your individual needs. I incorporate a person-centered approach with interventions from, solution-focused, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. My clients love my down-to-earth personality which allows them to let their guard down, trust and share! We are all different for a reason and learning self-awareness is key to understanding and accepting, changing thoughts and behaviors.

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 7 years of experience in the field. I specialize in working with students and faculty in areas of anxiety, behavioral issues, coping skills, depression, panic attacks, racial identity, relationship issues, and self-esteem. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as eclectic & multicultural approaches, as I believe that no two situations are exactly the same. I am an active and empathetic communicator and work to better understand clients and find solutions together. I am here to support my clients in making the best decisions and walking the path to achieving their goals. Success starts when you make a decision to seek help through therapy. Every session attended is a step closer to achieving goals and getting to where you need to be. Every step and every minute counts. We treat patients with insomnia via telehealth. Our patients have 1. insomnia, 2. interest in tapering off sleeping pills, or 3. Both. We have a team of highly trained PhDs who can help. We take insurance for the telehealth sessions, and patients pay $9.99/mo for digital membership access (i.e. sleep logging and videos to stay engaged between sessions). We have experts for all ages (infants, children, teens, adults, and seniors. We treat insomnia using the first-line, research-backed treatment: Cognitive Behavioral Treatment for Insomnia (CBT-I). We know how challenging the impact of sleep loss can be on mood, cognitive function, work and school performance, energy, health, and social functioning. Our treatment is research-backed, brief, and helpful! Our patients are able to feel back in control over their sleep through the techniques they learn from our program.

You’re lying awake late at night, stuck in your own head, wishing you could just turn it off. The worry loops won’t stop. The what-ifs keep coming. Maybe you’re caught in rituals, mental checks, reassurance-seeking, or avoidance that feels impossible to explain to anyone else. You’ve tried to push through it, distract yourself, calm yourself down, or “be logical,” but it keeps coming back. And at some point, you start to wonder if this is just how life is going to feel. It doesn’t have to be. This is where I come in. I help young adults untangle anxiety and OCD in a way that actually leads to change, not just temporary relief. My work is practical, direct, and focused on helping you get your life back, not just manage symptoms forever. The goal isn’t to make anxiety disappear overnight. It’s to stop organizing your life around it. General therapy often isn’t enough for OCD and severe anxiety. It can feel supportive, but the patterns stay the same. That’s why I use targeted, evidence-based approaches that are designed specifically for anxiety disorders, OCD, and phobias. I also work with LGBTQ+ clients and support young adults struggling with self-harm or suicidal thoughts in a way that is honest, grounded, and focused on real change. If anxiety, OCD, or fear is running your life, or quietly shrinking it, you don’t have to handle it alone. You deserve support that actually makes sense for what you’re dealing with. Reach out to set up a free 15-minute phone consultation and we can talk about what’s going on and what real help could look like for you.
