Hi! I'm Hazel. As a queer, trans, and Latinx person, I've experienced my own challenges with finding a therapist who truly listened and understood me. This propelled me to start my journey to becoming a therapist over 10 years ago. Many of my clients are LGBTQIA+, Latinx/e/a/o, BIPOC, college students, academics, artists, and/or activists. They're trying to manage life transitions, identity exploration, family relationships, anxiety, depression, trauma, marginalization, stress, relationship issues, land so much more. It’s my hope that through our work, you will find new pathways of resilience, freedom, growth, pleasure, and balance.
My style is warm, direct and collaborative. I aim to identify patterns of thinking, feeling, and relating that limit one’s ability to pursue their goals. These patterns are often the legacy of successful coping at an earlier stage of life, but no longer serve one’s best interest. Exploring the underlying forces can open space to make new choices, grow, and alleviate suffering.

Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from yourself or others? We’re here to help. We offer warm, trauma-informed therapy for to help you navigate anxiety, stress, emotional ups and downs, identity questions, or the impact of past experiences. Our work focuses on helping you better understand what’s happening in your body and emotions, build coping skills that actually work, and feel more confident in relationships and everyday life. We believe healing happens through connection. Therapy with us is collaborative, respectful, and grounded in helping you feel safe, supported, and understood — not judged or “fixed.” Whether you’re feeling burnt out, reactive, numb, or unsure of what you need, we’ll meet you where you are and move at your pace. We offer telehealth services in Oregon and in-person sessions in Portland.

I specialize in Mindful-Based In-Depth Psychotherapy, Spiritual Psychology and am trained in EMDR for trauma. I'm trained in EMDR for distance/video therapy. I also highly recommend Emotional Freedom Technique during this time. For couples therapy, I am trained in Emotional Focused therapy and use techniques in the Gottman Method. I've seen profound changes with clients in my 15 years as a psychotherapist. I offer a compassionate, warm, non-judgmental therapeutic approach and have over a decade of continuing training to ensure skill and commitment to the work of psychotherapy.

Hello! I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults, and love working with college students. I work well with students who want to develop more coping methods for anxiety and stress, and/or students who may be experiencing difficulty adjusting to college life - socially and/or academically. I have years of experience working with college athletes, both as a college baseball coach, and in student-athlete academic support. I am passionate about helping athletes develop skills for dealing with stress and anxiety, both on and off the field.
